Searching for the Spiral is a story about the inner journey of the "artist-mother" to find a meaning in the quotidian that runs parallel to the existential crisis of the outside world by following the primordial spiral-shape. She self-documents how she moves through the cognitive, sacred and cultural-historical landscape. Different layers of time are dissolved through storytelling that turns into speculative fiction: Who is telling the story? The search for the spiral takes her from her roots in Småland to Glastonbury and Lyme Regis. It doesn't take long until an inner conflict develops in the search for "abundance", a doubt about being able to turn off the brain and instead feeling and receiving with the heart.
